Give comment at joint CDPHE / AQCC Meeting
October 17 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Colorado Air Quality Control Commission and Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission are holding a joint meeting Oct 17th in Denver.
- Date: October 17, 2019
- Time: 9AM
- Location: CDPHE (4300 Cherry Creek Dr. South, in Denver) Sabin/Cleere conference room (MAP)
This is an opportunity to call on them to put health first and to support a time-out on new fracking in Colorado!
This meeting gives us a chance to impress upon the Air Commission and Oil and Gas Commission the need for more scrutiny around the air quality impacts of fracking and to ensure public health comes before oil and gas industry demands.
Although Senate Bill 19-181 was passed this year putting health, safety, and the environment first in Colorado, regulators unfortunately continue to rubber-stamp more fracking and more unhealthy oil and gas development.
The meeting starts at 9 AM. There will be a public comment period right at the beginning. We’re asking that people show up and provide public comment. Talking points available (email us).
