COGCC Forced Pooling Hearing – Denver
March 12 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Join us to give testimony or just support our speakers at the monthly COGCC Hearing. Each month the oil and gas regulatory body for Colorado (COGCC) holds a public comment period prior to their business meeting. Colorado Rising organizes our supporters to give public testimony. If you would like to join our group, please email: email@example.com and we will send you more details.
Tuesday’s hearing is a court-ordered forced pooling hearing, which is the first time that the COGCC is allowing health and safety concerns to be addressed formally during a forced pooling hearing. We have heard there will be no opportunity for public testimony on Tuesday. However, if you’ve been force pooled or are concerned about fracking, we encourage you to attend Monday (3/11) to share your experiences and concerns. Go Tuesday also if possible to show your support for the Wildgrass community and against forced pooling. (For more information on the federal court case involving forced pooling in Colorado, click here).
