Adams County Comm. Hearing – Vote on O&G Regs
September 3 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Tuesday, the Adams County Commissioners will vote to adopt new oil and gas regulations for the county.
Since SB-181 passed, local governments have A LOT more power over how and if oil and gas development happens within their borders. We know the AdCo Commissioners are looking at 1000 ft. setbacks which is terribly insufficient.
We also know they have not taken into account the cumulative impacts of the over 600 wells that are on the docket for approval!

Please come out and voice your concerns! It’s time to stand together with our neighbors to protect the air we all breathe. Oil and gas have been putting a lot of pressure on the commissioners to enact weak and unprotective regulations. The commissioners need to hear the truth about the dangers of fracking! It is up to us to ensure our elected officials exercise the full local control powers they were recently granted and put health and safety FIRST.
