We had so much fun at the first-ever Youth Climate Lobby Day on Friday, February 20th! Colorado Rising joined 350 Colorado’s Youth Action Committee, Good Trouble Climate Network, and Classrooms for Climate Action to co-host Youth Climate Lobby Day, where more than 60 students from across the state came together to make their voices heard.
After a morning of training and diving into key climate bills, these young advocates met face-to-face with their Senators and Representatives and even got to snap some photos from the Speaker’s seat on the House floor. A huge thank you to every student who showed up and spoke out. You’re the future of this movement, and you showed up brilliantly!
