At this event, you and other Aurora candidates will have an opportunity to answer questions and discuss oil and gas issues as they pertain to Aurora and Colorado at large. Local candidates must know that we expect real action on oil and gas, and that we will be holding them accountable in the voting booth. With the recent passage of SB19-181, local governments have been granted greater control over the future of drilling within their jurisdictions, so candidate positions on oil and gas development are more important now, than ever before.
CANDIDATES: please remember to complete our short, 10 question candidate survey by September 25. Responses and related scores will be listed on the Colorado Rising website and promoted through various channels. Candidates who do not respond will be listed on the website as “has failed to respond.”
